Au revoir, Park!

Park Ji-Sung has signed for Queens Park Rangers FC on Friday for £2 million. I'll go ahead and say he should have gone for £5 million, but it's a done deal. He'll be a great addition to QPR, but we'll certainly miss his incredible work rate in midfield and everywhere else we've played him. Park made 134 appearances for Manchester United, scoring 19 goals. Good luck, Three-Lung Park!

Player Profile: Shinji Kagawa

No, he's not the play maker we need. Rather, Shinji Kagawa is an attacking midfielder who can play on the left or behind the main striker, which is certainly an area where we could use improvement, despite what others may think. Yes, our midfield is where we truly need improvement playing Kagawa behind Rooney would be devastating to opposing defenses. This guy is quick. Very quick. If you've seen him play for Borussia Dortmund, you'll see that he was behind a majority of their lightning-quick counter attacks, which is something we were lacking much of last season. Pace isn't the only thing he's got. He's very agile and manipulative when on the ball and can easily weave past defenders, making them look like dunces. Top that with terrific vision and it becomes clear the £ we paid for him is one heck of a bargain...assuming all goes well. The video below is a compilation of Kagawa's best moments in the German outfit. He made 49 appearances and scored 21 goals for BVB.
